Making standalone HTTP calls in Scala.

So this week my job included dealing with a server written in scala and making standalone HTTP calls from it. I have never used Scala before so this simple job required a lot of searching , all through my search I encountered half examples and samples based on obsolete dependencies.Hence when I finally found the solution, I thought of putting it up for every newbie like me. :)

Problem

So you have a very nice API written in some framework of some other language in my case(JS particularly NodeJS) and you want to-

Setup the scala folder using

Setup the dependencies in your build.sbt
